Amid an atmosphere of friendliness, respect, and cooperation between various state institutions, the first meeting of the technical committee responsible for formulating the vision was held today, Monday, 09/10/2023 at the Board’s headquarters. The meeting was attended by the chairman and members of the advisory committee.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Zaidani, Minister of Planning and Chairman of the Advisory Committee, chaired the meeting along with Mr. Mohammed Al-Hawij, Minister of Economy and Trade, and Dr. Mahmoud Al-Futaisi, Director-General of the Board. The meeting was held to directly supervise the vision file and choose a clear title that suits the Libyan situation.
The committee members presented a presentation on the general framework of the vision, and subsequently, the attendees discussed some details related to modifying or adding some notes.
All parties agreed on the necessity of setting specific, achievable quantitative goals that align with every time and place after gathering data and information from local and international sources, and prioritizing activities and services
Conclusively, everyone welcomed the recommendations issued in this regard, considering that this meeting represents a serious step towards a promising future for Libya, which carries within it the desire to achieve the desired goal.
