The objective of the project is to formulate a national strategy for the development of the health system in Libya, by achieving the sub-objectives represented in improving the health status of the citizen. This is achieved by raising the level of health services to the best, optimal utilization and development of the health infrastructure available in the sector to achieve comprehensive development. The output of the teamwork is to propose a regulation to enable the promotion of health services in Libya, and offering an integrated proposal to improve medical services. Representatives of the National Center for Health System Reform, the National Center for Disease Control, the General Health Insurance Fund, the Insurance Supervisory Authority, and a number of national experts and academics participated in the implementation of the project.
