On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, the working team assigned to the Mineral Resources Management Project presented the final project outputs to the Director General at the Council’s headquarters. The key outcome of the project is the development of a National Strategy for Mineral Resources in Libya. The presentation was attended by all team members.
Dr. Mahmoud Al-Fitisi, Director General of the Council, commended the efforts of the team members and their commitment to completing the assigned work within the specified timeframe and with high quality.
This initiative is part of the Council’s strategic plan to develop promising sectors that contribute to national economic growth, ensuring that the mineral resources sector becomes one of the country’s revenue sources.
