The Board organized an extensive meeting on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, which brought together the team formed by the decision of the Minister of Planning No. (176) for the year 2023, members of the Malaysian delegation, and a group of experts and specialists.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Mahmoud El Fetisi, General Director of the Board, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Hassan Mad, CEO of the Advisory Council, who represented the Malaysian side.
The meeting featured a presentation by Dr. Issa Al-Tuwaijri, who praised the most important challenges facing the implementation of the vision in Libya, including demographic challenges, unemployment, oil, globalization, and knowledge economy. The delegation members then reviewed a visual presentation via Zoom, in which they discussed Malaysia’s most important achievements under the wise leadership of Mr. Mahathir Mohamad. The 2020 vision focused on resources, especially investing in and developing human resources, and this vision, followed by major development plans, led to a qualitative leap for Malaysia.
