Yesterday, a comprehensive meeting was held at the Ministry of Social Affairs to discuss possible international cooperation to develop the social aspect. The meeting was chaired by Ms. Wafaa El-Kilani, Minister of Social Affairs, and was attended by Dr. Mahmoud Al-Fatissi, General Director of the Board. On the Malaysian side, Dr. Hassan Mad, Executive President of the Advisory Council, and his accompanying delegation were present. Experts from the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Board, and a representative from the International Cooperation Administration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation also attended the meeting.
The Malaysian delegation presented a visual presentation on the Malaysian experience and how to benefit from it in many sectors, including, but not limited to, social affairs and the possibility of supporting the ministry through academic curricula concerned with human development, women’s empowerment, and support for productive families. At the end of the meeting, the attendees agreed to strengthen the bonds of cooperation between the two countries and open up prospects for joint work in the social fields.
