At the invitation of the Chairman of the Authority, the Board’s team accepted the invitation and visited the National Library of Science and Technology. The team was accompanied by the Authority’s representatives, including its advisor, director of scientific and cultural relations, and library management, to identify the difficulties, obstacles, and challenges facing the work there, especially the aspects related to Libyan universities and academia in all its branches that allow researchers and interested parties to benefit from master’s theses, doctoral dissertations, and many scientific titles.
The meeting included a presentation about the library titled ‘The Past, Present, and Future’ to highlight its role in scientific research. Another presentation was given about completed projects with an economic focus, which discussed the role of the Authority in supporting research and projects that serve the Libyan community.
At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize a workshop in the near future.
