Yesterday, Wednesday, August 30th, 2023, an extensive meeting was held at the Board’s headquarters for the “Citizenship Values Enhancement Project”. The meeting was chaired by the General Director’s Assistant for Administrative and Financial Affairs, who is responsible for monitoring the implementation of agreements with universities. The General Director and his Technical Affairs Assistant attended the meeting, along with representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education and members of the project team.
The joint team members discussed the implementation mechanism of the project’s plan at Tripoli University as a first phase, which demonstrates ‘how to enhance citizenship values’ through student activities, discussion sessions, and educational awareness seminars for students, faculty members, and administrators. It will then be generalized to all universities, each with its own specificity.
At the end, it was agreed to present the model results in the next meeting to discuss what was presented and provide feedback, in preparation for approval and implementation.
