A memorandum of understanding was signed this Thursday morning with the World Food Program, a joint program between the United Nations and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Mahmoud Al-Fetisi, General Director of the Board, his assistants and department managers, and on the other side, Ms. Maisaa Al-Ghareebawi, representative of the World Food Program, Deputy Basu Meisaw, and Mr. Sufyan Belkheir, Director of International Organizations Management at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, as well as Dr. Abubakr Al-Mansouri in his capacity as head of the food security project team.
The general objective of the memorandum was to implement several projects that would contribute to supporting and assisting the Board and government institutions that fall within the strategic plan
