The team held its tenth meeting on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at the Board’s headquarters, following the completion of the first phase of one of the most important projects of the Development Board, “Developing the Financial System Law of the State.” The meeting was chaired by the General Director of the Board and attended by his assistant for administrative and financial affairs, as well as Mr. Khaled Zayed as the head of the team and members Ali Ashour, Faraj Tantoush, and Mustafa Askar.
In the meeting, a presentation was given that included the main outputs of the first phase of the team’s work, which consisted of identifying and reaching the gap that will serve as the cornerstone for the development process.
The team discussed some of the budget, accounting, and inventory items that they are working on modifying in accordance with the current law. They aim to resolve bottlenecks in line with the comprehensive development goals of the financial system law of the state and its executive regulations in the long run.
The General Director commended the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and its members for their interest in the details of this project, which has been given priority due to its great importance in resolving many of the difficulties facing the public sector. This is in line with the principles of transparency, disclosure, and governance for achieving financial transactions on par with other developed countries.
