Technical meetings were held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, between Dr. Mahmoud Al-Futaisi, General-Director of the Board, and Ms. Henriette Von Kaltenborn, Director of the World Bank Office in Libya. The meeting was attended by a representative from the Financial Institutions and Technical Cooperation Administration at the Ministry of Finance.
The two parties discussed framing the implementation of joint projects between the Council and the World Bank in some economic fields of interest.
The General-Director held further meetings with Mr. John Cardenas, the regional representative of the #USAID organization, in the presence of the Acting Director of the Economic Growth Office, Mr. Dennis Lamont, and the Economic Growth Advisor, Mr. Ramzi Sbeila. The meetings included an overview of the Board’s work nature and discussions on ways to collaborate in areas of mutual interest between the two parties to translate them into future implementable programs.
