National Economic and Social Development Board Hosts #Discussion on Analysis of Governance Gap in Banking Sector.
General Director of the National Economic and Social Development Board and his assistants for administrative, financial, and technical affairs, Dr. Khaled Al-Wakil, attended a discussion session on ‘Analysis of Governance Gap in Banking Sector’ held at the Board’s headquarters on Wednesday, September 6th, 2023. The session was attended by members of the project team for framing and activating institutional governance systems in Libya, representatives from Central Bank of Libya and commercial banks.
The session highlighted a presentation that analyzed the governance gap in the banking sector using a benchmark indicator. It also covered the most important details of the second phase of the project, which includes governance requirements for sectors using benchmark indicators developed in the aforementioned first phase.
